Press: - No 4 system setup
Press: - No 4 add channels
Check frequency is highlighted in yellow
By using up and down arrow buttons
Using number buttons enter: - 10966
Press: - Down Arrow to highlight ‘polarisation’
Press: - Right Arrow so that next polarisation is an H
Press: - Down arrow 3 times to highlight ‘Find Channels’
Press: - Select
Box will search for new channels then display page
NEW CHANNELS
Press: - down arrow to highlight 7505
Press: - Yellow Button
Check there is a tick next to 7505
Press: - Select
Press: - Sky Button
You have successfully programmed an alternative frequency for viewing channel 5. This is not available in the normal viewing mode, to view this follow the instructions below.
Press: - Services Button. Press: - No 6 button.
(if you are asked for pin number it is normally the last 4 digits on your card}
Using up & down arrows highlight 7505. Press: - Select.
You are now viewing an alternative stronger channel 5 signals.
There is NO channel or program information available on this frequency,
For this you will have to return to channel 105 or TV Guide.

FTA BRITISH RADIOS & TV CHANNELS

The Astra 2D satellite positioned at 28.2° east, has a footprint focusedtightly on the British Isles, making reception difficult in large areas ofmainland Europe. The Astra 2D Website was set up to help those livingoutside the Astra 2D footprint, by providing news, information and advice onreception of the Astra 2D services and of British TV and radio abroad. TheAstra 2d Reports pages, contain reception reports from many countries, sodon't dispair, Astra 2D is being received from the Canaries in the west, toCyprus in the east!Most of the BBC's television services along with ITV's channels and Film4broadcast unencrypted and are Free To Air (FTA). You do not require a SkyDigital recreiver or a subscription to view these channels, any digitalsatellite receiver can be used. Channel 4, E4 and More4 are also expected tobe available FTA sometime in 2008, when Channel 4's contract with Skyexpires. Irish TV and radio also broadcast from this satellite, RTÉ One, RTÉ Two, TV3and TG4, along with Irish radio channels are available.
